Momistachio

1 oz Lucid Absinthe
1/4 oz Pistachio Orgeat
4 oz Seltzer

Build over crushed ice in a Collins glass. Fill with seltzer, stir to combine.

Happy National and/or World Pistachio Day!!!! Last time I did this with a Pistachio Suissesse but i wanted to do something a little different this time. After scouring the webs for something interesting to make with the newly made Pistachio Orgeat (which I made a little differently this time), I came across a bunch of Tiki drinks that I didn’t have all of the ingredients to make on hand, I did a search for drinks with Orgeat and Absinthe which narrowed my search down quite a bit. I ended up looking at the Momisette. Now, I didn’t have any Pastis OR Mineral water on hand, but this is a filch anyway, so I went with Absinthe and Seltzer which have been used alternately in other Momisette recipes.

It was simpler than the Suissesse in every way, but, all in all, quite nice. Paired well with a Pistachio Muffin.
