Boston Apothecary 3

1 oz Ransom Old Tom Gin
1 oz Alessio Vermouth di Torino Rosso
1 oz Seppelt `DP116 Show` Amontillado Sherry
1 bsp Kirschwasser

Stir everything with ice and strain into a chilled Cocktail glass.

For some reason I’ve been neglecting the bar over the last couple of weeks. I’ve mentioned before that I have to be in a good headspace to want to drink and perhaps the winter has had me down. The misfire of the 6-10 inches of snow that didn’t actually fall along with the well above freezing weather today could be to blame for the higher than dismal mood. 

The bottle of Old Tom has been intriguing since I bought it a while back but haven’t given it much of a chance. I’m definitely going to look for more specific Old Tom Gin drinks but before that I expect to make a bunch of Vermouth drinks since I opened this new bottle of Alessio that I’m going to want to use up before it sours. I’ll also have to see what the Boston Apothecaries 1 and 2 are.
