I had to look back through old blog messages to see what I was listening to last year as I have a problem keeping track of time. I thought I just got this LP a couple months ago at the most, but it was last August right before I started this blog.

(Pulled from LJ) It took me a long time to get into Immortal because of the costumes and makeup. I didn’t really appreciate just how utterly fantastic they were until I saw them live. Now I just fucking love them. The set is really unique. Four 10 inch 33 1/3s in a boxed set of really thick vinyl. The sound is un-fucking believable. It’s not something I’m going to break out often as I’ll kill if they get ruined and it is a bit of a pain that there is only 1 song per side and you have to change records every time you want to hear the next song. But I can’t believe how great they sound.
