In his house at R'lyeh buzzed Cthulhu waits drinking . . .
It only seemed fitting to add another Absinthe based Mythos Cocktail to the list once this Cthulhu Tiki Cup arrived from awesomedrinks.com. It originally was going to be a variation of the Navy Grog though it's probably closer to a Zombie. If I had any 151 to pour over the top I guess it would be even more so. I didn't want to use any Grapefruit Juice so opted instead for Pineapple, though there is not much Juice in it at all. There is also Lime juice since I juiced the Lime after making the Lime tentacles.
1 oz. White Rum
1 oz. Light or Gold Rum
1 oz. Dark or Black Rum+
1/2 oz. Absinthe
1 oz. Pineapple Juice
1/2 oz. Lime Juice
1/2 oz. Blood Orange Syrup
2 dashes Wormwood Bitters
Shake the ingredients with ice and pour into a collins glass or a tiki glass filled with crushed ice (especially if you have a Cthulhu Tiki Mug, by Horror In Clay from awesomedrinks.com). Top with a bit more Dark Rum and garnish with lime tentacles.
